What's Your Library Superpower?

Are you an amazing alphabetizer?  A superior shelver?

Then we want you!

Volunteer duties include:

  •  Virtual volunteering

  • Shelve and straighten materials

  • Empty book drops

  • Shelf read

  • Search for and pull requested items

  • Help with programs and events

  • Set up and take down displays

  • Help keep the library clean and tidy

Volunteers donated 2,019 hours in FY17-18, up from 1,864 hours in FY16-17!

LITTLE ELM FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Each year the Little Elm Friends of the Library sponsors merit-based scholarships to local high school seniors to support the area's continued educational achievement.

 

Recipients must meet GPA, references, and volunteer hours criteria. The selection of awardees is a joint effort between FOL representatives and library staff. Beginning with the 2020-2021 school year, the Friends will award one $4,000.00 scholarship.
