This summer, join us for some tail-waggin' fun!
How It Works:
-
Little Elm Public Library's Summer Reading Program is open to participants of all ages; parents and caregivers can count the time spent reading to children, and groups and families can sign up and count the time spent reading together (to receive individual prizes, time spent reading must be logged for each individual).
-
To complete the program and receive a prize bag, read and log the number of hours matching your age. Teens 13+ and adults: read at least 12 hours (or more!) to complete the program.
-
What counts: reading books, e-books, magazines, comics, and graphic novels, and listening to audiobooks.
-
When you complete the program, visit the library to claim your prize bag at the front desk or via curbside pickup. Prize bags include fun goodies, 1 Grand Prize Drawing ticket, and 6 Regular Prize Drawing tickets.
-
End of Summer Prize Drawing: after completing the program by logging your time spent reading, contact the library at 214-975-0430 to notify staff which prize(s) you would like to try for. Limit 1 Grand Prize entry and 6 regular prize entries per person. Prize drawings will take place Saturday, August 7, 2021, and winners will be notified by phone or email.
Reading at least 20 minutes per day will help you quickly reach your goal!
